It's tough for Australia to set fresh records.

The highest peaks have already been conquered.

This is the unit that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, along with another six T20 titles, and once went 1,294 days unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, the ones sought by the record chasers, are the only things left for a team that has achieved everything.

It needed as late as Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase above 300, taking back their record for the largest in the women's 50-over format, is, frankly, a tribute to the bowling attack that have sported the yellow jersey over the last half-century.

"If you've been watching me in practice sessions, it was a challenging time because it appeared I've had no rhythm completely," said Healy.

"But once you enter the playing area, your competitive nature kick in and you simply focus on the contest."

Healy's fighting spirit has continuously been her major advantage - and an irreplaceable characteristic in replacing legendary former captain Meg Lanning.

She was tormented by India's emerging talent Kranti Gaud in the previous month's ODI series, fallen to the emerging pace bowler in each encounter, but on this occasion it simply offered Healy's inspiration.

A single was taken off Gaud's first delivery and from that point the right-hander was underway.

"An opportunity to take the field and engage in competition with her and merely enjoy the moment in that aspect, sort of got me going," said Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 balls - her quickest at a World Cup - and her hundred in 84 deliveries while she attacked short-pitched balls, striking 21 boundaries and three big hits.

When she was dismissed Australia needed 66 more at run per delivery - an achievable target now needing a comfortable finish.

"Chasing 330 runs is unfamiliar ground so I am glad we have the confidence to do that now," stated Healy further.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it again but, if necessary, we are confident we can achieve it."

Those words will be the ultimate thing Australia's opponents at this tournament need to hear.

In recent days a sense they will succeed regardless of circumstances has grown stronger - this victory succeeding success over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite being 76-7 at one stage.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a match against traditional opponents England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final place may well be secure.
