'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League return
Kane achieves his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has declared that his desire in going back to the Premier League has diminished and he is open to explore a new contract with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is presently halfway through the four-year contract he signed when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the transfer window of 2023.
The veteran forward has accumulated an impressive 103 goals in 106 games for the German side, playing a key role in them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which was the initial significant trophy of his illustrious career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has previously mentioned that he would welcome to see Kane return to England, where he lacks 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring milestone of 260.
However, the England skipper has now clarified that he is no longer as keen about going back home as he earlier was, and would certainly think about lengthening his stay in Bavaria.
"In terms of staying longer, I could certainly see that," he stated.
"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be willing to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so progresses and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not thinking about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have realized in my career is that different options and different periods happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."
Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the all-time top scorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the speediest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five divisions, reaching the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a trophy had avoided him until he secured the German title last season.
Kane admits that he was not sure how he would respond after breaking his trophy drought, but now feels it has made him hungry for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.
"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.
"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
